The Ranch Building the Heart of RISN Homestead

RISN Homestead’s ranch will serve as the heart of our mission — a sacred space for restoration, faith, education, and community healing. Whether we restore an existing ranch or build from the ground up, the goal remains the same: create a self-sustaining sanctuary where people can reconnect to God, nature, and purpose.

Option 1: Restoring an Existing Ranch
Our ideal path is to acquire and revive an existing ranch, such as Rincon Creek Ranch or a similar property within the Vail/Tucson area. This option allows for a faster launch of programs and immediate community use while reducing environmental impact through adaptive reuse. The existing structures can host retreats, equine therapy, workshops, and farm-to-table gatherings almost immediately.
Goal Funding: $3 million
(includes purchase, renovation, utility setup, and program buildout).

Option 2: Building from the Ground Up
If restoration is not viable, RISN Homestead will establish a brand-new ranch designed for long-term sustainability and expansion. This model includes cabins for guests, a hydroponic greenhouse, therapeutic barn, amphitheater, holistic wellness center, and infrastructure for animals, crops, and education spaces. The design will follow natural cooling and water conservation principles for a fully off-grid operation.
Goal Funding: $2.4 million
(includes land purchase, infrastructure, water systems, barn, cabins, greenhouse, amphitheater, and power solutions).
Both routes lead to the same destination — a ranch that restores people’s health, faith, and independence while cultivating purpose through hands-on work with animals, gardens, and community.

The Freedom & Rights Initiative

To protect this way of life, RISN Homestead is launching a Legal & Freedom Restoration Fund. This fund covers legal representation, education, and advocacy to defend land rights, well access, local trade freedoms, and the right to live independently from overreach.

Our goal is to help communities reclaim their God-given rights — to work the land, feed their families, and live with purpose.

Goal Funding: $250,000
(for legal fees, public campaigns, and advocacy).

CC&Rs (Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions) are the same legal tools used in housing communities to govern property use — but in your case, they would be used to preserve farmland and maintain its faith-based, agricultural, and community purposes.

When RISN Homestead (the nonprofit) purchases or accepts donated land, you can record CC&Rs on that property that:

  • Require the land to remain for agriculture, education, and ministry use.

  • Forbid commercial or residential development that doesn’t align with the mission.

  • Require faith-based stewardship standards (optional but enforceable if structured properly).

  • Guarantee public benefit, like access for community classes, veterans, or church programs.

Once recorded, these restrictions run with the land — meaning even if the property changes hands, the restrictions remain legally binding.

Farm Stands in Every Neighborhood

We’re building a farm-to-friend network that allows families to buy, sell, and trade local produce, eggs, and handmade goods directly with one another. Our goal is to place farm stands in every neighborhood, supported by mobile units that connect rural producers with urban buyers. This creates community resilience, lowers food costs, and restores a Biblical model of stewardship and generosity.

Goal Funding: $150,000
(for mobile stand design, licensing, marketing, and initial operations).

The Complete Vision: A Faith-Based Ecosystem

Everything at RISN Homestead is interconnected:

  • The Ranch restores hearts and skills.

  • Land Preservation protects purpose for generations.

  •  Education empowers self-sufficiency.

  • Animals provide therapy and nourishment.

  • Farm Stands rebuild community economies.

  • The Freedom Initiative guards the right to live this way.

Together, these create a living, breathing ecosystem where people thrive as God intended — in harmony with creation, each other, and the truth.

Total Vision Goal: $3.7 million
(to acquire land, build and restore the ranch, establish preservation programs, and create a model community of faith and freedom).
