Annexation Information 

In July of 2024 the Santa Rita Fire District begin providing fire and emergency services in the northern part of the Town of Sahuarita following a successful annexation.

The Santa Rita Fire District is now the sole fire provider for all residents and businesses residing anywhere within the

Town of Sahuarita boundaries. Please review the District map to see if you are located within the SRFD boundaries.

Calculate Your Taxes Step

1:  Find your limited assessed value by going online to www.asr.pima.gov and search for your property by entering your name, address, or parcel number in the Search area. 


Step 2:  Take your limited assessed value and divide the amount by 100.

EXAMPLE
Limited Assessed: $22,500/100 = $225Step


3:  Take the amount that you got when you divided the assessed value by 100 then multiply the amount by $2.71 (GVFD Tax Rate 2.52 + Bond Rate .18)

EXAMPLE
Limited Assessed: $22,500/100 = $225Annual Taxes Due to the District: $225 * $2.71 = $610

I need a Property Verification Letter

To verify that your property is included in the annexation into Santa Rita Fire District.
 

  1. Visit asr.pima.gov

  2. Search for your property

  3. Scroll down to “Notes” and expand
     

If your property is within the boundaries of the annexation (services paid through taxation).

You will see the following:

Annexation into Green Valley Fire District
Per Res #2023-28 DOR DOCKET 10-2088-24

Change tax area from 3002 to 3003 for 2024 tax year
